Verónica Ortuño, Founder & Creative Director
Born in Santa Ana, California, Veronica Ortuño, a Chicana, relocated from Houston to Austin in 2003, immersing herself in the underground music and arts scene, and touring with various bands. From 2009 to 2019, she operated Las Cruxes, a hybrid store and gallery that championed emerging and established artists, curating over 30 exhibitions and numerous community events.
Since 2017, Veronica has focused on Casa Veronica, an interdisciplinary studio and brand. She began with interior design and consulting, then launched her first collection of ceramic objects in 2020, followed by glassware in 2024.
Looking ahead, Veronica and her team hope to continue their creative ventures, expanding their vision and clientele while nurturing diverse artistic endeavors.
